Volunteers | Web 2.1 is a Community Effort

As a grass roots event, are doing this to do it, not to make money. So we need your help and we need it now. We need help getting the word out to like-minded folks as well as support for all others aspects of the event itself - from designing our logo, to preparing the venue before everyone arrives and cleaning up afterwards. We also need help finding patrons to cover the costs of t-shirts, logistics and the after party. If you know of anyone who might be interested in supporting us, please have them contact us via patrons@web2point1.org

If you can volunteer, please contact us at volunteer@web2point1.org right away to help with any of the following items:

  • Logo Design
  • T-Shirt Design
  • Web site programming
  • Printing stickers and making buttons
  • Patrons for the event itself (financial or in-kind contributions of any kind are most welcome)
  • Setting up the venue
  • Setting up the WiFi connection
  • Cleaning up after the event
  • Directing people to the after party
  • And other details yet to be discovered...
